A Little Man in a Dog Suit

9:10 pm. I come downstairs to talk to Terri. Sometimes I go to bed this early, but not tonight. I turn to come back upstairs. Jazzy is stretched out on the floor, but looks up at me. (Questioning: Is it time to go out?)

I turn to look at the clock, and then say to him, "I don't think it's time yet." He turns to look at the clock, then lays his head back down. That dog! He knows he's one of us.

The article, "Can Dogs Tell Time?" suggests in all seriousness that dogs cannot read clocks. It is nonetheless an interesting read.
